Who are the Friends of Springfield?

The Friends of Springfield are a support group comprising of parents, staff and friends of the school who join together to promote a range of activities from social to fund raising events.

The current Chairperson of the group is Barbara Gibbs.  (parent and governor of the school)

Most of the members have, or have had, a child at Springfield; a few work at the school, but all the members want to ensure that Springfield can offer the very best for its pupils (whether they be 3 or 18)

The group currently supports the part time work of a colleague who is available to talk and advise parents and families. We know it is not easy having a child with very special needs. The Friends of Springfield hope that what they can do makes a difference to children and their families. All parents are warmly welcomed to become involved.
